Maine Gold Rush 2021 Update: COVID-19 (March 29, 2021)
Hi Friends,
Maine Gold Rush Team Basketball Camp at Colby College will be taking another summer. All sports camps at Colby College have cancelled for the summer of 2021 which includes our camp.
Colby College like all college campuses are focusing on opening up to student’s full time in the fall. We have searched out alternative opportunities and unfortunately, we don’t have a facility that can accommodate us.
We certainly are saddened that we will go 2 consecutive years without camp but Covid19 has damaged our progress. We are still excited to get in the new facility summer of 2022. David and I have not even had the opportunity to tour the facility yet!
We are extremely excited about the summer of 2022 in the new facility at Colby College. We truly believe the next time around will be a go. Colby College is very confident as well and shares the enthusiasm!
We hope you all have a terrific summer and we are pumped to get in the gyms next winter to see you play. It has been a long winter for us as we are usually in gyms 4 to 5 times a week.
In closing, thank you for being patient as we maneuvered in every direction to bring camp back this summer. The outpouring of support from the coaching world has been comforting.

Team Camps At Colby College: 2020
Enjoy Pure Fun
Teams that attend this intense, three-day basketball extravaganza have the opportunity to meet and compete against other teams at their level. This camp has become a tradition among better teams throughout the state of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and eastern Canada. Four camps will be offered during the Summer of 2020. Teams are recommended to bring 10-12 players. 9 Players is the bare minimum.
